Church Picnic

Sunday after worship we had a church wide picnic at the park. Almost the entire church came and enjoyed yummy food and fellowship. It was the first time we've done something like this and it was definitely a success. I really enjoyed it, as I got to meet and talk to several new women I had not had time to really get to know yet. With so many new people, it's been harder to form relationships with everyone, so it was a great opportunity.

Salem enjoyed being passed around from person to person. This is her little friend. She is 8 years old but is small for her age and Salem LOVES her. Actually, the feeling is mutual since she can't get enough of Salem either. It's so cute to see the two of them together. I don't know what it is about her, but Salem just seems drawn to her. She even made Salem a bib with her name on it when she was practicing her sewing skills at her Mamaw's house. So sweet!

Salem also enjoyed hanging out with Tiffany. Tiffany is just itching to babysit so Chuck and I can go out sometime, so she took the opportunity to spend some good one on one time with Salem so they can get used to one another more.

We are so blessed with so many new friends at church. I'm looking forward to all the new relationships that we will continue to build!
