Plumbing Issues Resolved

After a long week with no working plumbing, we finally now have working plumbing. I will try very hard not to take it for granted any more! You don't know how much you rely on it until it's not available.

We are very grateful to our plumber who was a friend of a friend and who worked diligently to fix the problem. In addition, our county public works people were great too, coming out right away and calling in emergency people to mark the power and other lines so they wouldn't be disturbed by the massive digging effort that happened over the course of several days. I am grateful for their hard work and for Dave Ramsey's teaching, since we were able to pay for part of the extensive repairs with our baby emergency fund. A couple of years ago, I have no idea how we would have covered an expense like this. We'll still have a bill to work on paying, but they were willing to "work with us" and I am incredibly thankful for that.
