Friday Film Fun

Tonight we went with some friends from church to see the movie Expelled. It opened tonight in over 1000 theatres throughout the U.S., more than any for a documentary in film history. If you have not heard of it, be sure to check out the trailer for the movie. Although it is definitely not your typical Friday night at the movies show, it was quite enlightening. The basic premise is that scientists who are exploring the concept of Intelligent Design (not necessarily Creationism per say) are being ousted from the scientific community. Essentially, Ben Stein explains that our intellectual freedom is being systematically taken away. Definitely a film to take note of!
