Straight Talk Phones?

We're considering getting Straight Talk phones instead of renewing our AT&T contract. Anyone have any experience with Straight Talk? We're thinking of getting the $30/mo plan that provides 1000 minutes, 1000 texts, and 30MB of data for a 30 day period with no contracts. We've read that the customer services isn't good - but really, what cell phone company's customer service IS good?! Please leave me comments if you have any experiences to share. Thanks!
