Today marks the first snow of winter! And what a great way to celebrate...a day off from work. This morning Chuck and I took the puppies for a romp down the street to play in the snow. In all the excitement, Eli got away from Chuck, and started exploring on his own. It wasn't long though before they were ready to come back in the warm house - the snow is cold on puppy paws!
I spent the day relaxing (reading Harry Potter) and tidying up the house - much needed since we've been quite the busy couple lately. We're preparing for a trip this weekend to the Biltmore House in Asheville, so I should have some good pictures to share next week. For now, it's back to the house chores, and maybe some baking...yum, fresh banana bread...I can almost taste it now!
